As the year comes to a close and winter settles in across Minnesota, I want to take a moment to wish you and your families a joyful holiday season and a safe, happy New Year.

Looking back, 2025 was another strong year for MN Wings. From great rides to well-attended events, your enthusiasm, volunteer spirit, and continued support are what truly keep this organization thriving. MN Wings is more than a riding club—it’s a community—and that shows because of each of you.

A Quick Look Back – October State Board Highlights
At our October State Board Meeting, the board acted on two important items that help position MN Wings for the future:

Summer Get-Together Insurance Coverage
We voted to continue pursuing an umbrella-style insurance policy for our Summer Get-Together rides. If no reasonable or affordable option can be secured, the board also approved moving forward with hosting the weekend without insurance coverage. This balanced approach allows us to preserve a long-standing MN Wings tradition while continuing to act responsibly.

State Dues Increase (Effective January 2026)
To support ongoing operations and statewide activities, the board approved an adjustment to state-level dues beginning in January 2026:
· Previous Dues: $6.00 (Single) / $8.00 (Rider & Co-Rider)
· New Dues (2026): $13.00 (Single) / $21.00 (Rider & Co-Rider)

This change helps ensure MN Wings remains financially strong and able to continue offering quality events, resources, and support across the state.

Looking Ahead to 2026
While riding season may be on pause, planning never stops. Winter is a great time to reconnect, share ideas, and start thinking about rides and events for the upcoming season. Be sure to keep an eye on the MN Wings Event Calendar for chapter activities and statewide updates.
